680 km each way.
6.0 to 7.5 l/ km. Most of the road is tar & stones not ashpalt.
Unfortunately, it was a lot louder with a higher pitch than the Santa.
Used db app on phone to check levels - 90 to 95 db :crazy1:
Cranked up the tunes, Led Zepp, Stones, Muse & Rival Sons at at 75% almost canceled it out.
Ear plugs if I take it that far again. :head_butt:

That's a fair hike for a day trip :goodjob: To busy taking photos to change gears were we :snigger:

I didn't click it was only in 4th.. Yeah 4000 rpm at hwy speeds is a bit high :crazy1:
Since being in Trish's Kona with 55 series tyres only 205 wide we notice the extra noise in the SR from the 40 series tyres.. As much as I love it in most ways I am looking forward to the quietness of the Hybrid.

Will be putting Santa back on the All-Terrians next week, lower pitch again and ready for the snow :happydance:
