Not bad, though I would use a recording device to record all conversations (legal in Queensland, varies in other states).
I am sure you will find various dealers employees will continually breach consumer law with their statements. This will provide a fair bit more ammo when you say, I am going to progress this case to the ACCC and I am in possession of the following recordings which I believe are in breach of the Consumer law (and very likley undertakings previously made to the ACCC).
Should get those aforementioned legal blokes pucker moving enough to justify the service cost.
But again, I don't like playing fair, and I definately don't want my car sitting on the sidelines while I argue something in Court.
As an aside, don't we pull heads out of engines, machine or replace them and put them back?

Yes, but still an expensive exercise and only one example of the letters he gets about this stuff. :cool:

Good advice. :goodjob2: The last 2 minutes are about all you need to watch.
1. Courts love a paper trail. Keep the notepad handy. write letters and demand a response. When the dealer fobs you off with BS demand a proper response.
2. Get an independent assessment in writing.
3. record all conversations. Use Bodycam or get a USB style recorder- cheap and will last for 15 hrs.
4. Dont trust the dealer...he is NOT on your side. ( await the Village Idiot's tanty :whistler: )
