Title: 2011 i30 comfort boot wont lock (remote)

The remote locks and unlocks the doors ok but the boot (trunk) refuses to lock. This is not the middle button this is the main lock on the remote.. anyone solvedthe problem before?

Your not talking a proximity key by any chance? I suppose not in a car that old... Sounds like the acuator (solonoid switch) is playing up. Usually they won't unlock when they die. Not locking is probably better from a fit it point of view.  :undecided:
