Anyone know of good servicing prices in the midlands or north west (or north Wales)? I've been quoted over £350 for the 40,000 mile service on an i30 1.4 petrol model. Outrageous!

DIY is unbeatable.

Do you prefer a dealer service or indy?
If dealer, have you checked the hy uk web site re services.
They offer several levels depending whether the car is in or out of warranty.
If out of warranty they offer 3 levels of service which include 12 months full breakdown cover so depending on which you choose makes the service cost £nil when taking into account the breakdown fee.
Within warranty, they can differ to what the dealers charge.
You can book online if you see a price you are happy with.
Also, you can use their prices to match against indy garages and may be negotiate.

Thank you. The car's under 3 years old, so I won't go DIY just yet. I've negotiated a decent discount with our usual main dealer and it's booked in.
