Title: RHS rear door not locking remotely. more symptom description

Problem already aired but >60 days ago so new post.. Problem on a 2011 active. The tailgate works OK when the RH rear is manually locked by flicking the red indicator flag so that it disappears. The problem seems to be that there isn't enough torque supplied to fully open (red flag showing fully) the door.. but there is enough to partially open it (red flag showing a bit) and under this condition the tailgate wont lock remotely.
Any confirmed solutions really welcome please..

That's an interesting bit of interaction, Nick. I would service or replace the actuator associated with that red flag toggle switch as a first go at resolving it.
