Post by: Dazzler on August 31, 2019, 17:52:37
Cheaper than Kona but only a naturally aspirated 90kw engine. It will apparently be available with a 6 speed manual in the lwer grade.

The folks went and checked out the new Venue yesterday, they quite liked the look from the outside though weren't overly impressed with the interior look or quality and lack of boot space.

Sales don't seem to be to interested in selling them either, folks didn't even want to test drive it after the salesman mentioned to my father how gutless it was :whistler: though I expect he'd picked up on their lack of interest so he just spurted out his personal opinion.

I didn't realise they were that close to release. Yeah they do sound pretty gutless on paper!

Pretty sure they are a "CITY "car, targeted for those in the world that dont travel any further than 100km each way on a Big  trip.

John Hughes Hyundai have one available to drive, but he says they can deliver a new one within two weeks, depending on colour choice.

 :coolingoff: :coolingoff: :coolingoff: :coolingoff: :coolingoff:

"Hyundai will offer another destination for Australian buyers"    :honk: :honk:

"the launch of its Venue crossover"  :fuckyou: :fuckyou: :countsheep:,

Real Deal is this, since 'Morrison's Miracle' , the Oz$ has dropped, and new car sales have dropped. Used car sales have picked up.

Therefore, Hyundai are producing crappy basic models, hoping to grab a few vacant dollars,

They were initially reported that they would be priced around 18K - 20k driveaway for the base GO model Venue as a replacement for the out going Accent, now they're in show rooms at a starting price of $23600 which puts them to close to the base Kona imo.

Another 2k and you've got the Kona, I know which one I'd pick :)

How are they coming up with that price :undecided: they're already in showrooms here at $22,910.57 for the base model GO in a manual.

The author of that website "Mihnea Radu" seems to think the Venue will make hatchbacks obsolete :whistler:  what a croc of shit :D
