Hi,

I moved this to Problems with Petrol Model. I had to search your previous posts to find out what you had. I would certainly help for future inquiries if you put put a bit more detail in your car description/signature.

No probs I'm guessing it is the 1.8 litre unless it is a 2016 SR which had a 2.0 litre motor.

Hopefully someone technical will be along shortly with some ideas.

One of our Tech heads is actually as old or older than you! @nzenigma  :whistler:

Great intro Dazz

There are a number of things that come to mind.
These are trouble free cars so Im guessing maintenance issues.

If rough idle sounds like just one cylinder constantly  missing, you could have a lazy injector, or more likely poor spark plug. Among other things.

Rough idle in general could indicate an air leak, but my choice  as the most likely at 35,000km is a dirty MAF sensor. Can be cleaned with a spray cleaner.
