I'll bet it was a right lovely drive.   Prefer the HEV though - no worrying about fill points.

I'm loving my near 1000 k range in my HEV

I normally do around 560 miles (900 km) on a tank when the fuel warning light comes on.

The highest I have done has been 633 miles (1020 km)

The lowest 476 miles (766 km)

My 1st hybrid had a 70 litre tank,  the 2nd one a 65 litre tank, so it was pretty easy to get 1000 kms out of them. The new one has only a 50 litre tank but is more efficient.  Experimenting with premium 95 versus E10 it appears I will break the 1000 kms barrier on some roads if I use Premium 95 or better (at a cost though)  :victory:

My HEV has a 45L tank and it shows between 620-640 miles DTE when I've brimmed it.

I seem to get around 560m before the jitters creep in and I refuel - before the warning lamp illuminates (which I've not see yet)

My Hybrid only predicts what the GDI engine will deliver without the unpredictable electric assist (well I assume that is how it works) Best range I've seen at fill is 783 kms but that only falls slowly if conditions allow a lot of EV driving, so the range gets closer to the thousand all up as she gets closer to empty.

So much ado over triple figures. Firty gives me well over 1000km every fill. :P

I used to do 1200km regularly in my gd, record was 1350+km, no hybrid.  :victory:

I'm perfectly happy with the 200km or so I get out of the EV. Done 600km in a day three times. Did a 300km run faster than what Google maps estimated for a gas car once too, even with stopping twice for charging (I may have driven a slight smidge over the limit that time though...  :whistler: ).

By the time we're done releaving all the bladders in the family the car has charged enough for an additional 150km. But ofc all long trips are dependent on there actually beeing a good charger network in place along the route and destination.
