That's right, and here's the picture taken while it was being refilled:

On the other page, it reported a consumption of 6,3l/100km, and I took in 57.2l, which is almost spot on when you do the calculations with the actual fuel amount and the distance.
I drove from Gatineau, Québec, to Toronto, Ontario, and back, driving at 100km/h, the posted speed limit. Out of the 906.2km, about 20 was city driving. Conditions were great, sunny and a temperature of 15°C, with a headwind of 20km/h on the way to Toronto, and calm winds on the way back.
I'm quite happy about the car's performance :D

Well done... Great result! :D

outstanding economy for a petrol engine.

yep that's pretty huge! Does the Elantra Touring have the same size tank as the Australian i30 I got 800 out of? If you got 57.2 litres in and 6.3L/100 that seems like we got similar consumption but you either had a bigger tank or more guts than me!
Wish I still had the i30 so I could try to beat you! (of course, that's not the only reason I wish I still had an i30...)

That is great 8),
my last tank was 525 km only in the city.
my sister was in Ontario last week
