Where are the side indicators?
They don't come standard on i30s in Singapore, only for i30cw.
I've indented them and should be installed next week.
-
It's great! :) Also love the alloys
Lol, I've never heard, there are cars without side indicators?
-
Welcome Mace_1980 (bodykit and wheels look GR8)
accim.. I assume Shambles is talking about indicators on the mirrors..
-
^-- nah I meant there are no side indicators anywhere
-
Nice! :)
-
The side indicators for the front are within the headlamp housing. Should be more obvious in the 2nd pic.
The indicators on the side mirrors will be installed soon.
-
Very nice. :D :D :D :D
The indicators in the headlamp unit is standard ie we all have that, but what Shambles means is that the models without the mirror indicators have side repeater units in the front wing.
-
It's quite possible there is no repeater wiring too. That would make adding mirror repeaters more tricky.
-
Awesome

Great car :)

Come to think of it, its standard equipment for most cars that i've observed on the roads to have side indicators... even entry level Toyotas and Nissans....
Its kinda useful for indicating to motorists in he blindspot. This justifies having the side mirror indicators. :P

I went having a look at Hyundai Singapore (http://singapore.hyundai-motor.com/user/showroom/UserCar/CarForm1.aspx?LeftMenuIndex1=&LeftMenuIndex2=&carCode=76&Menu_no=3835&MenuName=&CarName=i30&OCarName=i30&PageName=Exterior2&CM=CM) and they do seem to be standard on all i30s

-
Then again, looking in the i30 singapore club, it seems to be the norm, to not have side repeaters

I think Hyundai Singapore should fit them for free :D

It's not that long ago here in UK cars did not have side indicators.
My first car had the little arm that came out from the door pillar!

Good guess but alas no.
It was a Vauxhall something, can't recall at moment. When I do I'll update.
Used more oil that petrol so got rid after 2 weeks and bought a Hillman Imp. Great little car.
