Am I the only one ... or have others constantly had problems with 2008 i30 window switches, for up and down.
I have replaced drivers side twice.
Rear passenger left side twice.
NOW
I can operate up and down drivers side no problem, since replaced twice.
Front passenger can operate up and down, ... but not from main drivers door panel, ... but only from it's passenger door control switch.
One rear does not work at all. Was intermittent, now nothing. Have already replaced twice.
The other side rear, can go down from main driver control panel, but only operate up, ...from it's door switch, not drivers main panel.

Guess no one has had a problem, just me.?

Hi, 2008.
Mine's an '09 model and - touch wood - still perfect.

I'm pretty sure @tw2005 has replaced a few, he has like 4 FD i30's though.. and another member @Aussie Keith has had issues with his later model (series 2) window switches..

I was told it was the motor but since they never pulled the door apart I would be amazed if it were true. On the drivers side I never bothered to fix it. Dealer wanted $800 and Hy didn't want to know. Its cost them a lifetime of business, but hey that's their problem.

My GD 2dr has had both sides replaced, the last one was even covered out of warranty.
