Title: Windscreen Wipers Strike bonnet (hood) edge when being folded up.

Hi all, first post, be kind.

2019 PD2 MY18 active auto hatch

When I try to fold up my wipers to wash the car/ windscreen, the left wiper body is obstructed from folding up by the edge of the bonnet. Anyone else have this issue? I bought an ex demo from a dealer but wondering if it has been in an accident or something.

Welcome,

It is a designed like that for aerodynamics and possibly security. In some places theft of wiper arms is quite common apparently.

Quite a few other brands/models have a similar situation.

There is an easy procedure to get around the design. Hopefully you haven't damaged the edge of the bonnet trying to force it...
