I think I mentioned it on here once before but one of my old work collegues was driving to Hobart with his wife (shortly after they got married) and they both pointed at a house in Oatlands (in our midlands) and said to each other simultaniously "My great Grandmother Smith used to live there" TRUE STORY  :lol:

When the same guy (who was a good footballer) tried out for the AFL Football in Melbourne (with Richmond) they were ribbing him about Tasmanians being interbred and my Friend being a simple farm lad denied it but then told them the above story... :rolleyes:
