Hi guys, got an annoying one (as far as I'm concerned!) - i30 1.6 CRDi (2010)
I get in the car, drive off. After a few moments the central locking automaticlly locks the door. I arrive at destination, park up and get out of car, turn engine off (keys still in ingnition). Momentarily exit vehicle - and close the door. And the doors wont open from outside.
Basically this happens almost everyday! Luckily I have my window open so can press the unlock button but I know I'm gonna get caught out one day. Its the nature of my job. I have to pop out of the car when I arrive, open a gate and then drive through, get back out, close gate etc
Is there anyway I can disable the car from automatically locking a few moments after I start my journey?

The drivers door should be set to not lock with key in. With key out, all doors automatically unlock.
I have been caught out by a Chrysler during a blizzard in the USA . So far , all Hyundai's have remained unlocked; but given the US experience, I still take the key or have window down.
Try remedy below or go to the dealer.
How do you activate or deactivate the Auto Lock feature?
1.Put the key in the ignition and turn it to on.
2.Press the Unlock button three times.
3.Turn the ignition off.
4.Press the Unlock button three more times.
5.Turn the ignition back to on.
6.The horn should beep once. ...
7.Press the Unlock button, then press Lock again.
