Title: Hyundai i30 remote key window roll
Post by: Christian on June 19, 2020, 09:48:46
Hello, I own a Hyundai i30 1.4 highway gasoline from the year 2020. My question is that how can I roll down/ up the windows from the key.
I tried to hold the lock button for a few seconds to close the windows and unlock to open the windows but is not working.

Thank you,
Chriatian

Hi   and  :wlcome01:

Are you sure your model can open/close the windows remotely? Does your car manual say this is possible?

I don't know exactly, in manual it says that this is possible if equipped.
All my windows are electrically controlled, and I tought this should be possible.

Mrs G's 2017 PD SR Premium does, not that the dealership knew anything about it, but I worked it out.

Hi Christian,

It's only the very top (Premium version) that gets that feature over here. So I imagine unless your car is one of the most highly equipped versions in the range that function is probably not installed.

Thank you for your response, i think is not the very top equipped (actually it is for that motorisation - 1.4 100hp 5DR - ). Maybe it does not have the convenience. I thought that maybe there was some setting that will enable it but apparently not.

All the best and drive safe.

To remove all doubt, try holding the fob button for at least 2 seconds and see if anything happens. If not, then you don't have the feature (fitted or enabled).
