Title: Rear parking assist - deactivate
Post by: ThunderStruck on July 22, 2020, 12:33:11
Hi,

I have been looking for a way to deactivate the rear parking sensor on my i30 from 2011.
Do you know any easy way for this to be done?

I know some models already have a switch for this, but mine doesn't have one.  :-/

Cheers

Put one in ,  :victory: or if you're thinking of a more permanent solution,  cut and tape the  power wire .  :victory:

Find the power line to the sensor system and cut and splice a switch into it, and mount it within reach of the driver (if you want to control its function).
