Hi Everyone!
I've got an issue with the rear window switches in my 2009 i30 SLX I recently bought second-hand I'm hoping someone might be able to help me diagnose/troubleshoot.
The left and right hand rear switches do not work, although the windows are controllable, up and down, from the drivers side switches.
Rear window lock button is not on.
Any advice much appreciated!
Thanks

Welcome,
I'm no mechanic, but it sounds like both the rear switches have just died. Obviously the electric motors that wind them up and down are still operating. I imagine the switches wouldn't be that expensive retail. Check with your Dealer or search online. If they turn out to be dearer than you are comfortable with, try picking up some from a local car wrecking yard.

Hi there.
Rear window lock button is not on.
There's always the chance that the BCM thinks it is ;)
Remove the battery -ve terminal for 1/2 hour before reconnecting, then retry. Costs nothing and it'll rule out what I said.
Or it might fix it ;)
