Title: Bargain of the Week

Libby had a stroke of good luck yesterday - she went to Solihull to pick up an order and spotted an assistant changing the price tag on a TV Cabinet. We have been looking for a more suitable one since we moved house - hence her interest.

It was ex-demo and the rear panel was slightly damaged. Hence being reduced from £125 to £60.  She spotted a small scratch on the top and after a haggle got a further £10 off. The scratch is not visible with the TV in place.

I spent a hot and sweaty hour or more removing the damaged back and changing the cabinets over yesterday afternoon. The wiring is quite a tangle with all the connections to the TV, surround sound speakers, Sony DVD player, Sonos  speaker, broadband Router, bluetooth sender for my hearing aids etc so it took some time tidying them up.

The old cabinet was rather crammed but in good condition so Libby advertised it on Facebook Market Place for £25. Within an hour it had been sold and collected.

Hence we have a new cabinet that is just the ticket for just £25.00.

I was thinking of those gumtree adverts where the photographer photo-bombs his own photo, whilst completely nekkid :lol:
