Title: Cannot upgrade GD01 firmware.

Hi all

As the title says, I cannot seem to upgrade the firmware on my GD01 head unit.

I have downloaded the files posted in reply 7 here -  :link: My bad radio.. (https://i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=45224.0)

And I have it on a USB, everything seems fine but when it instructs me to simultaneously press and hold preset button 2 and 5 to enter the software update screen, nothing happens.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Have you checked the units model number? I think a 2014 model would use a GD-02 head unit :undecided: is it a satnav enabled unit or not?

I'm sure it's a GD01. I get stuck on this screen here.

A photo a little further back would be better so we could see the full system, though the screen looks a little large for a GD-01 :undecided:

The model number is stickered on the back of the system.
