Title: i30 S 2015 - steering wheel shaft exposed?
Post by: sabotage3d on September 18, 2020, 15:54:44
Hi,
I recently purchased i30 S 2015 and I noticed when I press the clutch sometimes my foot is hitting the steering wheel shaft.
Is there suppose to be a cover there or it is like this from the factory?

Thanks,
Alex

Looks like you have raised the floor mat, something underneath perhaps :undecided:

That's normal for the steering column, my own big feet have never managed to come anywhere near it though :)

Thanks a lot ! I was worried a trim or cover is missing.
I added this rubber floor mat probably didn't help much. I have to adjust the seat as well maybe it is too close.

I'd recommend getting a fitted mat, then your heel will be on the floor properly and no worries of your toes touching the column :)
