Has anyone seen the world cup adverts in the UK?
On ITV at the start of each break there is some type of i30 advert. They are advertising the "2011" model. Great press for Hyundai and i30.
-
yes seen it they sponsor the world cup and the i30 are having a great match wonder how many places in the world it's shown.
-
Yeah seen it lots today. There's an i30 at our local dealership done up in the world cup colours.
Wonder what they do with them afterwards, sell them as a limited edition?
-
How annoying are those horns.

True they make such a noise I wouldn't be surprised if the players are playing with ear plugs in to dampen the noise
-
Bloody horns
I really can't stand having the volume up.
At least the ref won't hear Roonie gobing off.

I don't know how true this is but all the non english speaking refs have been given a list of swear and other not very nice words so they know that the players are not just saying - nice day today isn't it

Apparently the tv station - ITV - broadcast adverts including the Hyundai one when the first goal was scored. Only on the HD channel though. Thousands of people watching it on big screens at Wembley stadium missed seeing it !
Some mistake, eh?
Though I think they will mainly remember the error by the England goalkeeper.

Yes I was watching on ITV-HD as the throw-in was being taken, only to change to being shown six i30s playing "ball". So I dashed into my office, where another TV was on, only to see Gerard sliding along celebrating a goal. What a cockup

I was watching ITV HD tonight - the only time I've been annoyed to see an i30

I do hope so.

The ads they are playing here on Foxtel have the seppo (american) pronunciation - hunday or even sounds like kunday sometimes - very annoying.
-
Hyundai is doing a great job in advertising.
They even have those places you can attend and watch the games, this one is from Manchester.

I just love how the police are wrestling with that guy and hardly anyone's even paying any attention!!!
Should I say, "Don't tase me bro!"? :P
-

No he wasn't fighting. They were showing the France/Uruguay match and he was trying to escape from it
-
Look at the bobby standing at the front -- He's watching the match while his mates do the business.
Also, look at his stance.
Looks as if he wants a c*** (toilet)
