Hi all,
Just saying hi from Slovenia.

Hi h4xk0
Welcome to our humble club... Thanks for the link to your photos... very nice.
Looks like it is the champagne silver with the brown interior (neither of which colour choices we get in Australia)
At least one other of our European members has a very similar car.
Hope you like the site and we will all look forward to sharing our love of these great cars with you
Rgds,
Dazz

Welcome,
Great to have you on the forum. Your car looks great. Looks very similar to my SLX CRDi, excepting they have put the steering wheel and pedals on the wrond side.
LOL.
Pity we don't get that colour option in Australia. The tan interior brightens up the dash a bit.

Hi h4xk0 and welcome
-
welcome, nice car!
-
It's good to be here;).
Thanks for making me feel welcome. I hope i will be able to add some more pictures soon.
Sadly Hyundai in Slovenia did not offer cruise control in the package so i'll have to buy it extra. Also some tanning of the windows must be done. BUT.. all in due time.

Hi h4xk0, welcome
(Is that your horse? We have 3 here.. well 2 plus a shetland pony)
-
Welcome h4xk0 to the club.
Noticed some writing or etching embossed on, I think, the steering wheel. The one with the key on.
What is it?
-
you mean this one?
Well.. one month after I bought the car it started acting up on me.
First the ESP OFF light came on and wouldn't turn off. 5 minutes later EPS light started blinking. So I stopped and shut the car down. Waited for about 5 mins and tried again.
This time both lights stayed on all the time. Well .. the computer went beserk so I had to take it to back to the shop. They put the car up for diagnostics which showed that there are some problems with systems communication (yeah I know .. sound like STAR TREK ;) which I got.
It was OK but after one week same story. The car was allmost undriveable. So I had to drive with a faulty stearing for about 2 weeks till they got new parts.
They had to replace the whole stearing thingy (don't know how to call it
) because all of the electronics are supposed to be there.
it's been 6 months since that and no more problems. I expected some glitches since it was a whole new car for hyundai so I wasn't upset or anything. I was upset about the stearing wheel though.

@shambles:
Yes I use the sensors regulary. Whey work like a charm. Haven't had any problems yet.
The white horse is my fathers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipizzan). The guy with the ponytail kissing the horse is my dad.
The kid on the horse is my daughter.
The brown horse is a friends horse.

Hi there h4xk0!
Good story - hope the car continues to be trouble-free now
-
Yes, that picture.
Glad to hear all fixed and no problems for 6 months.
If that happened to me I would have refused to drive the car, left it at the dealers and ask for a hire car under warranty, until fixed.
I would deemed it a safety risk. i.e unsure how electronics would react plus no ESP.
What is your warranty period?
-
Warranty period is 3 years or 100000km.
Well .. they did promise me a substitute but then didn't have one :S.
BTW: forgot to write some personal info:
My name is Aleksander -31 years young
(Alex), am married and have a 6 year old daughter (soon to be 7). I own another Hyundai (Accent 1.3l 85 HP). My father drives a Tucson 4x4 2.0l. So I guess we are a Hyundai family.

Hi Alex,
Welcome to the forum! Seems I've found another champagne-silver at last. Our cars could be twin brothers (or sisters... 8-)
I also miss the cruise control. I was at the dealer last week and asked what it would cost to build it in (steering wheel control). He said: €750
I'm not sure if I want it anymore. For that money I can do lots of other nice things to the car (a rear spoiler, alu-look door sills, and so on...)

Warranty period is 3 years or 100000km.
There is a thread in GENERAL DISCUSSIONS covering warranties in differing countries.
If you want to add your countries warranty period etc go to:
