Title: Car vibrating heavy while braking with the engine
Post by: Geirrune on December 22, 2020, 11:51:02
Hi Guys
Today, really sudden, my car started shaking heavily while gearing down to 3rd into a roundabout.. This seem to happend when i clutch out in a lower gear, and the engine must spin up by the speed..
Any experience? The clutch seem fine, but im getting a feeling that there is some cluncking while changing gear, and clutching it out. Getting a feeling that the engine is "loose", so i will inspect my engine \ gearbox mounts this evening. Should i just run a crow-bar between and jank the motor in both axes? any other good ideas?

thanks guys for the best forum ever! :goodjob:

Sorry to hear that. I'm no mechanic but I've got a high IQ and a brain almost exploding with knowledge and I'm modest too..

My 2 cents worth. From the other side of the world..

A broken engine mount probably a back one near the transmission.

Please let me know if I'm right it will make my big head even bigger.

Merry Christmas either way and if I'm wrong (unlikely) I hope it's something equally as simple or even cheaper.

EDIT:

Oops! Snap

I only read half your question and posted that reply! So great minds think alike.
