Title: Ahoy from the Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Australia
Post by: Ratmick on January 18, 2021, 12:40:52
Evening all...

I'm Mick and I hail from the Macedon Ranges in Victoria.

Grandfather of two, my partner Glenys (Glen) is grandmother of five, we're both in our mid-50s.

Just traded in my 4yo Ford Fiesta ST for something Glen would like to get in rather than have her grumble that the ST bounces her around and she can't reach the seatbelts and the backseat is crap and the seats are uncomfortable...and so on.

...the 'something' is a MY2021 N-Line (the non-Premium version) hatch in 6sp manual and given we don't know what the Dealer is getting in the way of stock this week we don't know the colour..yet.

I haven't fully given up on Ford, we still have two Falcons, my daughter drives one and one is a project car. Alas they don't import anything anymore I can afford that I want to drive so I have joined the dark side...

...'dark' being South Korean and comfortable to punt around in a half-spritely way in a manner not befitting my years :crazy2:

Thanks for the welcomes, much appreciated.

The Dealer rang today, looks like my car will be Fluidic Metal  :victory:

Fluidic metal looks nice, the colour really enhances the body lines  :goodjob2:

...no worries but the size limit makes the pics tiny.

The pictures are larger once you click on them, I personally prefer using imgur  :link: Imgur: The magic of the Internet (https://imgur.com/) for adding my own pic's as it doesn't direct to another site.

Had some minor issues with my N-Line.

Firstly as per the pic of the rear I posted the pre-delivery team at the dealer didn't align the two halves of the rear diffuser on each side of the towbar.

This has been fixed but when I picked it up they haven't clipped in the LHS of the rear bumper properly and there is panel misalignment between the hatch and the bumper.

That will be fixed at the end of next week when the car has its first 1,000km checkup...
