Title: Gas struts for bonnet.
Post by: Dazzler on March 06, 2021, 13:29:13
Human nature I guess but once I've had a convenience feature that I like in a car I don't like going backwards with the next one.

I'm absolutely delighted with my new Hyundai Tucson diesel Elite including its suite of convenience features. I'm even happy with the things it doesn't have like a sunroof.

However one thing I will modify after having it in two previous cars only (I think) is gas struts for the bonnet. Had them in the Camry and found them very convenient and tidy. Anyone bought aftermarket and got any feedback about quality, fitment etc..

Maybe try Cherry Tuning over on facebook Dazz, I saw they released a kit for GDs recently but they could be interested in expanding the range outside of i30s

Dazz, you can get a Tucson specific strut kit here  :link: Motorhaubenlifter Hyundai Tucson | ab 2015 |➜ ab Lager (https://www.ath-hinsberger.de/Hyundai-Tucson-Motorhaubenlifter.html) just need to translate into English

Many other bits and pieces for your Tucson as well  :)  :link: Hyundai Tucson Tuning Zubehör Teile| ab 2015 | TÜV (https://www.ath-hinsberger.de/Tuning-Zubehoer-Hyundai-Tucson/)

There's also some cheaper kits on eBay from China and the Ukraine if your looking for budget ones.
