Title: Polishing black exterior plastic
Post by: PiL on March 27, 2021, 02:29:30
Bought some meguiars gold class trim detailer for the exterior black trim.
Id always thought my car's 6 year old exterior was in good condition but this product has taken it to another level. The black contrast with the paint is mint.  :goodjob2:

Tell later how well it holds the colour. I used to treat black bumbers etc with old cars, but soon after the colour faded again. I was a bit disapointted to the brands I used. I'd like to know if that stuff could be  worth the effort.

Yeah i hope it lasts.
There is another product on the market here from bowdens that requires a lot of prep and covering of paint surfaces but apparently lasts longer than anything else.
It's a big job whereas the meguiars product took 2 mins.  I can make it part of my cleaning routine i guess.
