G'day all
I'm hoping the Mods won't mind a shameless plug........
I've had enough of whinging about it so I'm going to start to do something about it.
I have created a group on Facebook for people to join as a petition of sorts to convince Hyundai to bring the Genesis Coupe to Australia.
At this point in time Hyundai has no plans to produce a RHD version. I want to try and get enough people to make them reconsider.
The name of the group is 'Hyundai bring the Genesis Coupe to Australia!' If you type this into the search field it should come up.
I know this is a bit selfish only doing it for the Aussies, but I think taking on the whole world will be a bit too much for me to handle!

I've given up on the i45. My hopes are now turned to the i40 which is basically going to be a European Sportier version with alot of influence from the i-flow concept.
The way I see it the i45 is a Camry beater, the i40 will be a Mazda 6 beater. Which is what I would like if I can't get a Genesis Coupe.......

Yeah I think it is a supply issue (I haven't seen one on the road either) and the dealers don't seem to have idle stock only one demo each per outlet as far as I can see... :cool:

I have seen the Newcastle dealer demo out for a spin. Last time I went buy I saw at lest 2 parked.
I've seen one parked at my work, but unsure who drives it.
Other than that haven't seen any actually on the road.
I'm going to advertise the group on a couple of more performance orientated Hyundai forums aswell. Hopefully that will help.
Or it will all just bellyflop.......... :lol: :lol: :lol:

I've seen pics of a possible i40 wagon.
Then there are the pics of the the i-flow which could become an i40 derivative.
For now I just want to focus on the Coupe, but I think the i40 will be pretty tempting later on.

Steve, If you google for i40 images you will see what Daniel is talkin' about it's fairly speculative at the moment and a lot of pix of the i45 come up because a lot of car sites were expecting it to be called the i40 (not the i45)

yeh guys i put i40 into the search section up the top and found an old post and pics on the site about the i40,not a bad looking car. :mrgreen:
