Hello, my name is Yvonne and I am new to the I30 Owners Club.
I have a problem and I am hoping that someone can please help me. :) I have music on both a USB stick (provided by Hyundai) and I also use my IPOD (with the cable that came with my IPOD). Not spending $100.00 plus dollars for another cable LOL. Anyway, the problem that I am having is that whenever I use either device and I turn off my car and then sometime later restart it, the music starts at the very beginning of either device. Can someone please help me with this problem. Is there something I need to be doing?
Thanking you.
Yvonne

Hi Yvonne.
Welcome to the club.
There have been several threads on this issue. If you use the "Search" option above and enter "usb" you'll find them. They are worth taking the time to read through as there's a number of issues here.

Hi Yvonnne and welcome :D :D
The Hyundai sticks are well known for this problem, get another stick and it should be fine.

Hi Yvonne,
Welcome to the club... :D
as Brian says the small Hyundai USB stick is a bit dodgy...
Also do some searching for cable... as I believe they are worth having and can sometimes be had for $50 or $60 on ebay or other web sites...

I would look out for a cable.
Got one for mine and never looked back.
My iPod hasn't come out of the car since!

Hi everyone,
Thank you all so much for your replies. I have ordered a cable for my ipod from EBay and I tried a different USB stick and problem solved. Thank you again. At least I am not having to listen to the same song everytime I start my car LOL.
