Hi all!!
I would like to ask if any of you ever had promblem with the headlights? (Mk2, 2016)
My problem is a really dimmed headlight. My guess is something wrong with the projector or the focus point of the light.
Is there any solution rather then change the whole headlights?
Thanks

Any change in the brightness with new bulb?

I bought slightly brighter OSRAM h7 bulbs and they did the trick... lasted a long time too (about 6 years). The second one just blew last weekend actually and lucky I still had the original bulb in the glovebox. I will order something similar because they made a difference for sure.

Good thing if brighter bulbs work for you. There has been plenty of discussion on forums how i30s blow light bulbs. Especially FD diesels seem to be harsh on them. I managed to get 1 month from Osram Nightbreakers. Now I only get longlife bulbs. Only ones that will last decent time.

Ive read about FD's having more problems with blown light bulbs but didnt realise it was mostly diesels. I've got 2 GD i30s (both CRDi) and 11 years of ownership between the 2 cars and I've replaced 3 headlight bulbs. On the other hand a family member with a FD i30 petrol has replaced about 1 bulb every 6 months in last 5-6 years of ownerships. He usually buys whatever is on special and always has a couple of spares in the car...

My Firty has blown her pair of main beam bulbs just once, about 3 months apart.
