Title: Difference between FD and GD for roof bars
Post by: I30newowner on September 12, 2021, 20:05:48
Hello guys,

I have a 2012 GD, and looking at roof bars, but I'm on a budget.
My local scrap yard has these....

Now, it's a 2009 (FD?) Will these fit my GD?

I'd rather spend 20 quid taking these off than spending 130 quid buying new.

Thanks for your time to read this.

This is not a guarantee, but I plugged both vehicles into prorack (Yakima/Whispbar) and get the same fitting kit. The flush bars are different part # though. Fitting kits can be pricey (up to $90 here)  so it may be worth it for the fitting kit alone but I don't reckon it will be a complete fit with bars being different
