Title: Ipod Nano Hook-up

I've just purchased a 2010 I30 and the proper I30 IPod cable from Hyundai. I went out and purchased a IPod nano and tried to play it through the stereo system and keep getting 'LOADING ERROR' message. What can I do to fix this problem? or what might I be doing wrong? Did I buy the wrong IPod? I'm currently playing my IPod with the auxiliary jack but it's not the same.

Now I'm no expert at these things as it takes me all my time to tune the radio in  :rolleyes:  but I'm sure someone will be able to guide you so you can listen to your music.

By the way what type of music do you play?

Try putting nano into the search. You'll get lotsa hits. I don't have said device but I think some of the older one's might have trouble. I also think the filesystem format can be a problem.

You might want to try and do a reset.  A Nano should work fine - however the manual will tell you what isn't compatible.

Reset:
Have the Nano off when you do this

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2. Now press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, which may take about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

    * If you are having problems resetting the iPod, go ahead and set it on a flat surface. Then make sure the finger pressing the Select  button is not touching any part of the click wheel. Also be sure that you are pressing the Menu button towards the outside of the click wheel, not near the center.
    * If the above mentioned steps do not work, then you can try connecting your iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect the iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn’t set to go to sleep.

This worked for my iPod Mini and it works flawlessly for me now.
