Title: Upgrades

Gday, I recently purchased a 2016 i30 active x. I gotta say I’m in love with it. But I’d love to get some info or ideas on upgrades for using it to travel long distances. Also any nice exterior upgrades or performance such as turbos etc. thanks for any advice.

I don't believe there are any performance upgrades available for the 1.8ltr motors, aside from changing out the restrictive rear muffler to a straight through design and replacing the standard paper air cleaner for a K&N there isn't to much else available.

It's possible a performance shop might be able to fit a turbo though I'd expect with parts - fitting - tuning - upgrading driveline...you'll be spending thousands (10k) more than the car is worth.

Thanks for the reply mate. I did think that I’m regards to the engine. I might do the air cleaner and tweak the muffler exhaust
