Title: i30cw Model Year 2011 in Australia - is it here?
Post by: fsat on August 01, 2010, 02:19:30
Does anyone know if MY2011 has arrived yet?

When I was negotating with the dealer I was told that MY2011 is not going to be here until Feb-March next year, but I checked redbook.com.au and find out it's now in the new car list.

http://redbook.com.au/new-cars/results.aspx?Ns=p_Make_String|0||p_ClassificationType_String|0||p_Family_String|0||p_Year_String|1||p_SequenceNum_Int32|0&N=2994+2951+4294955265+4294843399+4294783556&TabId=1407343 (http://redbook.com.au/new-cars/results.aspx?Ns=p_Make_String|0||p_ClassificationType_String|0||p_Family_String|0||p_Year_String|1||p_SequenceNum_Int32|0&N=2994+2951+4294955265+4294843399+4294783556&TabId=1407343)

I guess the difference in redbook between MY2010 and MY2011 is the MY2011 has got black headlights rim and it's got 'follow me home' headlight function.

I remembered someone here in the forum got black headlight rim with their SLX purchase, so I'd thought I'd ask.

Thanks!

I see. The dealer that I was talking about wasn't even aware of the black rims version.

I like the chrome headlights better myself. If the chrome headlights is MY2010 maybe I can score a better deal for in stock cars since the model year change seems to be taking place.

Thanks for the reply :)

The chrome and the black deadlights both look ok, but trying to be objective, it makes a different what colour car they are on. It probably makes the most difference on black and silver cars.
