Title: Tyre Pressure
Post by: mbeari30 on March 12, 2022, 03:37:26
Hey guys

Just got a new set of shoes and was curious as to why they came back at 44psi for front and rear?

I have 18" and have been filling them to the recommended on the manufacturer's sticker which is 33.

Saw the post here where @Surferdude recommends different for front and back, but can't revive the thread.

Thanks in advance  :victory:

I think 44 is too high. And 33 too low.

I'd run 38 front and 36 rear unless on a trip and a load ( luggage? Back seat passengers?).  Then maybe 40/ 38.

I do 40 all around for good even tread wear.

Is the diesel a little heavier than the petrol, Gonz?

I've never really compared but I suspect so.

Car came back from the mechanics with 40 all 'round so I'm going to keep it at this
