They didnt exactly roll out the barrel with the extra spec.

That's interesting ..only available in the Petrol 2.0 model.. Looks good in red - think the darker lights look better with some colours (white, silver and red?) than with others - Not so good with black maybe..
Think the darker windows are photoshopped
Like you say Lorian.. not exactly generous
-
the one i saw and took some pics and posted up didnt have the trophy badge on the back,it must be fitted during pre delivery.
-
i don't get the point of this edition
and it looks terrible with the black handles.
i'd rather buy a regular SLX i think
-
I just bought an Trophy, and absolutley love it. I understand the critisim of it being a 'special edition', as there is nothing that special about it as its just fitted with some optional extras, but as a value for money point of view, its great. Only $500 more expensive than a standard, but with cruise control, alloys... hah man i am just way too easy to sell stuff to :P. Bottom line, if i could afford the SLX / SR, i would, but this is the best new car we can get.
Plus, it says 'Trophy' on it, so you know its good. :D
-
i didn't realise it was a standard price range - was thinking it was a SLX edition for some reason - explains the handles then
^congrats on the purchase and welcome by the way :D

Those black headlight inserts really do stand out on their pictures. Just looked at mine and they are the same, but they just don't stand out that much on my Black bodywork.
-
The Trophy as a package is $2,000+ less than an SLX with essentially the same equipment. The painted handles on the SLX do look better, I would admit, but in general the Trophy was a well packaged car.
-
Good on you Hendo .. No doubt the Trophy is a bargain!
....and welcome ridecycling :D
