Title: hyundai i30 09 how do I turn off the central display light

I'm looking for some helo my central display light won't turn off and has caused the battery to die. When I get the car starting again the light is constantly on. I have checked all doors are shut but don't know how to dim or turn off the light. For a 09 plate i30

Do you mean the interior light in the roof lining? I may be stating the obvious here, but there is a 3-position rocker switch so you can turn the light on, or turn it off, or set it to turn on and off with the doors. Is that switch in the correct position?
