Title: Hard wire Nextbase dash cam
Post by: RachelP on January 28, 2023, 12:55:54
Hi,

I have a 2012 i30 CDRi hatchback 110ps, mk 2 body shape.

I am trying to hard wire my nextbase dash cam into the fuse box. It's got "intelligent parking mode" so I need to wire it to a fuse that is always on. I was aiming for the horn fuse...however this is in the main engine compartment and seems rather tricky/near on impossible to access.
All of the fuses on the box in the drivers footwell seem to be related to when the ignition is switched on (cigarette lighters, lamps, air con, blowers etc)

Can anyone point me in the right direction of an accessible 'always on' fuse, or point me in the direction of how to get the wires through to the engine compartment please?

Many thanks!

Rach

Interior/cabin lights should have constant feed.
