Title: EPS failed
Post by: John Maher on March 14, 2023, 04:28:18
Hi, I have an i30 purchased in Australia new in 2010. It now has 185,000 km on the clock with a full Hyundai service history. Last weekend I was returning home to Mildura from Melbourne when the EPS failed. I was going around a bend and a B double truck was coming the other way. Needless to say we are lucky to be alive. I have been quoted $3200 by our local Hyundai dealer to replace it. Has anybody had any luck with Hyundai in getting it done at  their cost? Also has anybody had one replaced by an non Hyundai mechanic and are EPS Modules available as a non genuine after market product? Thanks for reading cheers.
