Hi All, I have done some research and have found some information online and off this forum. We have a 2014 I30 where the radio just stopped working (known fault). It has the GD-01 model radio in it. We managed to find a GD-02 radio. We installed it and powered it up and it comes up with the screen with the reverse camera lines and the message Warning check surroundings for safety. Our I30 doesn't have a reverse camera in it. We can't get it off this screen. From what I gather it is the A9 pin that goes into the back of the radio. On the GD-01 it had NC (not connected) on it, on the GD-02 it has reverse next to this on the diagram. Is the fix for this just depinning the A9 pin out of the plug that plugs into the back of the stereo. I have read a topic here which seems to be saying this, just want to make sure. Will there be any other problems if I get an auto electrician to do this?
