Title: Hyundai i30, 1.6 CRDi, double fuel consumption
Post by: Onca on May 19, 2024, 18:35:08
Hello guys  :D

I'm the owner of Hyundai i30, 1.6 CRDi 66 kW, was wondering why sometimes board computer is showing double fuel consumption? I usually have around 4,5 l/100km , but it tends to raise that to around 9 l/100 km for short periods of time, every week or something like that, for about 20 minutes.

That sounds like the Diesel Particulate Filter doing a clearing burn.
