SRS light still on after replacing the clock spring in the steering wheel. what could be the problem?

May need to clear a code through the OBDII port.

First read the code. Be careful with generic code readers, as sometimes they cannot read ABS, airbag, steering angle sensor codes. You may have to get higher level diagnostic obdII reader. Then verify that the old clock spring caused your code.
