Title: Front Left Door Wont Open With Key Or using the Automatic lock unlock mechanism

Hi all,

I have a 2010 hyundai i30 and i recently replaced the window regulator on the front left door as it was completely messed up.
Problem is however, once I put it all back together, that specific door wont lock or unlock using the key, or from inside the drivers side door where you can lock/unlock all doors. Furthermore the car makes a lock unlock noise like its trying to lock unlock the door every 30 seconds or so, I currently have to lock it manually. I have tried finding solutions online but to no avail, Does anyone have an idea of what the issue may be?

The only observation of diagnostic value is that it started after you messed with the door, so I'd be going back in and checking connections of all plugs as well as any exposed or weakened wiring.
