Title: Are D4BF motors interchangeable between year.

I have a 2009 model and want to replace the motor with a 2016 model. the 2016 model comes with it's own wire harness. is it as simple as plug and play or will I need to plug a code reader into it.

I hope you're experienced with diagnostics and wiring as the ECU is different and likely all plug connections will be different :crazy1:

Also are the engine mounts in same location?
