Hi,
new owner here. I bought my 2018 T-GDI i30 secondhand (two previous owners) in March this year. Previous owner never had any issues and passed inspection last year. Since a month, the engine does not start if the car has not been used for a few days. When I try to start the engine, the dashboard starts flashing, and various messages pop-up that some systems should be checked. Here is a clip of the issue:

I called road assistance the first time it happened, they ran a diagnostic but could not find any issue. I will (try to) get the car to the shop to have it checked :undecided:
Has anyone had similar issues like this?
Cheers

Hi
As it's over 5 years old my first guess would be the 12v battery. Can you borrow one or get yours drop-tested?

My first thoughts were same as Shambles (posted above) - bad battery, although I'm a little surprised that Roadside Assistance diagnostic testing didn't show any issue/s.

When the car wouldn't start again after the time Roadside Assistance helped you, how did you get the car going again in your garage? Jump start and/or recharge the battery?

Hi Terry,
Usually 5-10 minutes after having this issue, the car starts normally.

Hi Shambles, does this kind of issue normally not show up in the road assistance diagnostic?
Also the issue usually only lasts 5-10 minutes, after that the car starts normally
