Title: 2014 GD I30 1.6 T/D problem after battery change

Hi,

Looking at buying a 2014 I30 Tourer 1.6 Turbo diesel auto, the owner says the shifter is locked and needs to be manually overriden and the power windows no longer work after the battery was changed, gonna have a look at it in a few days but was wondering if this is a common problem, any tips or suggestions, should I run for the hills or reset the car?

I've changed the battery a couple of times on my 2015 spec manual diesel. I've never had to reset anything after re-connecting the battery apart from the clock and the radio presets.
