Title: Steering wheel cover recommendations
Post by: Pnut on August 23, 2024, 03:46:00: Our FD i30 steering wheel "leather" is crumbling a bit, in the past we had a generic steering wheel cover from Supercheap or Repco, but i didnt much like how fat the open elastic ends made the wheel to hold. So im trying to find a place that does the lace/stich up style which i can put on, does anyone have any recommendations?

Good find. At $6.85 (delivered!) you gotta wonder how they can do it. Downside, estimated delivery time 1~2months.

Thanks, i will have a look at that. Looks like it is a generic fit so will probably see the edge around the wheel supports, have you seen any made for the i30?

I've never looked that closely but for that price I'd give it a go and maybe do some cleaning up with a blade and needle around the support areas if necessary to cut down any bulk. Over to you to keep searching otherwise:
