Title: 2013 1.6 Diesel i30 cold start issue

Hi, I have recently bought an i30 that seems to have a problem when you start it on warmer mornings, it starts ok but surges and tries to stall at tickover and sounds very rough, after a few mins it's perfectly fine and drives without any problems.

Doing a search on here there are lots of people with the same problem and on the Kia forum, has anyone actually found what the cause of this is ?

That would have me checking all the glow plugs and feeds to them. Sounds like only 1 or 2 are working.

Glow plugs and supply are all working as they should, cold starts on a cold or freezing morning are perfectly fine, only happens when the ambient temp is over 15c
