Title: Fuel consumption 35 mpg 2019 i30 fastback 1.0 Tgdi
Post by: basicnbrown on December 04, 2024, 07:18:14
I did a 400 kilometres/ 250 miles trip yesterday. Did a reset of accumulated metrics on the dash at the start of the trip. I drove 130 kmph on the highway for first 200 kms / 125 miles and then 90-95 kmph for the rest of 200 kms/ 125 miles.

After the trip I see I got approximately 35 mpg or 15kmpl or 6.6l/100km.

Hyundai claims this car should return above 50 mpg (combined motorway +city ).

This figure kind of worries me. Is this normal? Anyone has any similar experiences? Perhaps someone with the same model that I mentioned?
