My 2011 fd Diesel is increasing in oil level. My assumption is it is filling with diesel. The oil is very thin. I have no fault codes and the car runs and drives ok. Anyone got any ideas? I have re-sealed the injectors with no fix. My. ext thought was high pressure fuel pump?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've read this happens if the car tries to force a DPF regeneration but it gets interrupted by repeated short journeys. Are you seeing a big drop in fuel economy as well?

I do not think that my model has a dpf??

I had a UK spec 2011 diesel and it definitely had one. If you go to www.partsouq.com (http://www.partsouq.com) and enter your VIN number, then search for 'particulate' that should tell you whether or not your car has one.

It has a DPF within the CAT. Thinning oil is 100% diesel getting in it.
Get the oil changed and lob in some Archoil 6900 :link: Archoil AR6900-D Max Advanced Diesel Fuel Synthesis (https://www.powerenhancer.co.uk/product/archoil-ar6900-d-max-advanced-diesel-fuel-synthesis/)
Increase the cetane will also increase the exhaust temps and will help burn off soot in the DPF and EGR etc.

If it does have a dpf, I would get the values checked on a diagnostic, it may be that the dpf is failing to regen and dumping fuel into the oil.

Someone else can help out here, but I’m pretty sure we didn’t have DPFs in Australia that far back.

DPFs didn’t become mandatory in Australia until 2016. FD and GD models didn’t have them.
