Title: Interior lights
Post by: stevejones972 on February 08, 2025, 20:38:04
Hi, I'm hoping you can help. I'm possibly being very daft! I've just both a hyundai i30 1.4 comfort. The interior lights don't work, boot light does and audio does. I can't find the fuse anywhere! None of the descriptions seem to fit.

BCM = Body Control Module (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_control_module)?
Based on the linked Wikipedia article, if a BCM fuse were blown, wouldn't it affect more than only those interior lights?

Is "BCM fuse" a term used by Hyundai?  It doesn't appear in my Owner's Manual (albeit for a different model of i30).

In my case the manual specifies a 15 A "ROOM LP" fuse in the driver's side fuse panel that protects the interior lights (and clock).
